New greeting cards from Tanya Wolfkamp’s Wikitoriatanga range feature NZ flora and fauna in neo-Victorian repeat patterns.
From Top left clockwise:
Untangled Vines – a tangle of rata, Mt Cook lily and clematis.
Forest Brocade – taraire, pokaka and hangatere form a Victorian wallpaper pattern.
Colour Revolution – Marlborough rock daisies push their way through kowhai, manuka, poroporo and kotukutuku.
Winding Stems – turutu, taurepo, daisy bush and mountain aniseed are braided like South Island river beds.
Roseate Birdsong – riroriro (grey warblers) feed a pipiwharauroa (shining cuckoo). Rohutu, whau, hibiscus, houpara, hinua and NZ calceolaria form the backdrop.
